Hi there, I'm James and thank you for visiting Majestic Pinball. For me pinball has always played a big role in my life; As a child I adored pinball, the twinkling lights, the action, the amazing artwork, the bells, whistles and strange noises - it was tactile and fascinating. I still remember the first machine I played while on holiday when I was just 6 years old! To this day these marvellous machines still inspire me and spark joy in my life - I'd never have imagined when I was a young lad that I would be able to make a career for myself in the pinball industry!

I started my own collection sometime in 2016 when I bought my first game, a Zaccaria 'Queens Castle' and from that moment on it was a slippery slope of learning as much as I could about as many different machines as I could lay my hands on. My collection grew to almost 30 machines and I soon realised that the games produced by Gottlieb were what I loved to collect and repair the most.

Fast forward to 2026 and with 10 years of experience under my belt it is a great honour to say I have supported some major pinball events; I lead the Tech Team for the UK Open - one of the largest and most prestigious pinball events in Europe. I will be offering Tec support for the East Anglian Pinball Open - an exciting new event starting this year. I am also the Head Technician at Pinball Republic - the UK's largest pinball venue located in Croydon.

Majestic Pinball Started off life as an online portfolio of work on my own machines, I loved to collect strange and unusual games and I thought it was important to document these machines for others to see and learn about. After a while people started to reach out to me for help and I got great satisfaction from assisting others. In 2020 I decided to quit my job as an engineer at Namco and take the plunge into full time self-employment and my life became 24/7 Pinball!

Since then I have met some incredible customers and collectors too, and had the privillage of working on some of the rarest and most desirable machines in the world - it's never a dull day at Majestic Pinball!

When deciding what name to go by that was very easy, my late Grandfather is a huge inspiration for me and where I believe I got my 'tinkerer' traits from - he was a very skilled carpenter and was fascinated by machinery. I knew early on that I wanted to pay homage to his memory and therefore I named my business after his absolute pride and joy, which was his beautiful travelling Showmans Engine named 'The Majestic'.

As part of my passion for sharing pinball with others I also have a Youtube Channel where every Monday I upload a tutorial video teaching you the history and complex rules hidden within each machine alongside showing gameplay of the machine in action.
